Enjoyable
Caylie really enjoys her time here in Melbourne. She loves to read outside, under the warm sunshine on the deck. Joey BBQ delicious steak for dinner. Caleb enjoys the warm from the grill and the fellowship with Ebbie and Joey too.Cooking is a good way to keep warm too : )

Beautiful view
Very beautiful scenery. Lovely. Very breath taking moment. As I watch the sunset, I begin to admire natures beauty and I'm in awe of the scene. It's real and it's not a poster! What an awesome God.

Young Archeologist
Dayson found some bones, like a sea creature bones. Looks like a frog or something. He found it in the sand on the beach and he was so excited. He said, 'Look mommy, I'm an archeologist'. Then he started to do more searching of branches, etc. He was having fun!One of the best ways for children to learn is through exploring and experiencing.

My Handphone Story
It's the 2nd night of Planet Shakers Conference at Hisense Arena. It's just a few minutes before it starts when my hubby hand me an Iphone 4 (with the help of Ebbie and Joey) and said "Happy Birthday, It's yours!". This is a pleasant surprise! My birthday is not till in a few days time, but I guess he wanted me to enjoy it earlier. As for me, I'm just happy to receive it!

Bonding time
This trip has so far been a bonding time for the kids and their cousins. You know, here in Melbourne McDonalds they serve a drink called Freezy Coke or Freezy Fanta.

Penguins
It was freezing cold out at night and we went to St Kilda to see the penguins. They were so cute! We had a good time. It's hard to take a clear picture because it's dim. The kids totally enjoyed themselves. Then we walk around the mall at the b
each front. It's great to have the mall just on the beach! Lovely! The cousins really had a good time together. We parents became cameraman.

Sunday Part 3
Before the day was over, right after the pool party, we went (for the first time) to a drive in movie! Interesting and enjoyable experience! We watched the movie 'HOP'. What a day! Totally blessed!
Sunday Part 2
After church and lunch, we went to join Ebbie and family at Ryan's Pool Birthday Party. I learn a lot from that event and I totally enjoyed it. I watched how the Program Leaders chaired the pool games. I admire their professionalism and creativity. The indoor pool is a heated area, so it's warm and good inside.
Here's Caylie trying on of the games. She swings on the rob then jumps into the water! She's brave! And she enjoys it! She went a few times.
Busy Sunday
We took a night flight, arrived Melbourne at 8:10am. Our kids managed to sleep through the flight but not us. So we were tired when we arrived, but the Melbourne air and meeting Joey, Ebbie, Ryan and Noel gave us life and energy to last through the day.Sunday was a good day!
On the way to JIL Melbourne, we admired some classic cars.

Caleb preached and ministered. God is good and His anointing flowed through healing. Caleb prayed for the healing of the gums, and throat (for the lady). Below right: Pastor Bong introducing Caleb.

It was such a joy to meet the Puyats! Our extended family. The picture on the bottom left, is Caleb and little Caleb. Both with the same name.
Trip to Melbourne
Everything seems to be going smoothly, till we were held back at the boarding gate due to one of our passport. We recently renewed our passport but one of it was not perfectly done. It was out of alignment and the officer had to ensure that we did not forge the passport. We didn't realized the photo was not exactly in the middle. Due to the imperfect production, we were held up for half and hour. It was a good thing I brought all our old passports and the receipts of our new passports!! The supporting documents helped to certify the passport. Lesson learned: The next time you do a passport, check to make sure the main page is done in perfect alignment to avoid problems!

Travel tips begins...
This is a picture of Dayson's improvisation. His daddy blew up the plastic bag as balloons for the boys to keep them occupied while we were buying groceries. When we arrived home, we were surprise that Daddy's "balloon" became Dayson's bolster! He looks comfortable hugging it to sleep. You will never know what ideas children can come up with all the time.We will be leaving for Melbourne for a holiday this weekend. I've been busy with packing and preparations for our trip. So I'll be sure to blog our trip! The first tip I learn is not to bring food to Australia, because the queue to declare it will take a very long time.

Little chefs
Starting young. It was Monday evening, and my kids had a wonderful time learning to cook dinner with their Aunty Anna. Caylie enjoyed it thoroughly, Dayson loves cutting off the fish head and Dylan showed us an excellent quality that he possessed. Dylan was given the task of slicing a bowl of shallots and onions. He started to tear and Aunty Anna ask him to stop as she would take over the task, but Dylan refused, he said 'don't worry, I want to finish cutting them all!'. Such determination! Dayson, seeing his brother tearing, decided to help and he started tearing too. So all three of them were tearing! But they finish slicing all! Dylan showed real determination in his job. We were impressed!

McD Paper Plane
Nothing can stop creativity. Dylan is a visual person. We were at McD's for tea break, just a 'time-out' for our family after a busy weekend. While we were chatting, Dylan was busy. After a while, he showed us his paper plane made from the "french fries box". I thought it was interesting. He felt proud of his plane! The cardboard made the plane feel firm. Of cause I didn't allow him to keep it. It's too salty for keeping!Let nothing stop your creativity!

Ear Piercing
I was surprise when Caylie asked to pierce her ears, on her last birthday. So on the 1st March 2011, while we were in the mall, I decided to get her ears pierce and I didn't inform her till we were at the shop. She was happy and the tension was short. If I were to inform her before lunch, she probably would not have enjoyed her lunch. So she enjoyed her lunch, had her ears pierce and she is happy with her new butterfly earrings! She pierced her ears when she was about 5 years old at a gold smith. But it the earring stat was too tied, causing her ears to swell up and then having infection. I thought she would never have courage to pierce her ears again. This time, i check to make sure the earring stat was not tied, and it's not. It's not pinching her ears. It's just nice. And by evening, it didn't hurt. The pain slowly subside. Today, she's enjoying herself, even trying on my earrings! I'm happy for her. So, be sure to check the earring stat the next time you or your child pierce their ears.

Creativity
Children learns through experience as well, both good experience and bad ones. We were blessed to be able to visit a bread factory during the CNY holidays. It's very educational for the kids and for us too. The smell of fresh bread filled the air.. simply delicious. We enjoyed the 2 loaves that were given to us to bring home! Yummy! This was an unexpected, unplanned trip! But we were blessed.
