theTANs @MPH Mid Valley

I was so pleased to see my three angels enjoy reading. As soon as we stepped into MPH, children corner, immediately they picked their own books.

We then chose our corner, sat and read. It was an enjoyable moment.

Cheerful-Happy Smiles

Together with Joy, we met theONGs at Mid Valley. After spending an hour plus in MPH, we were hungry and had chosen McD for lunch.

My little nephew (by adoption) is so adorable. He lights up everybody around the table. Praise God for little ones.

Family Photo Session with Joy

theTANs were very glad to have Joy Ma with us at Miracle Villa (MV) this morning. She is always a cheerful girl. We like to have her around because she always bring joy and laughter.

After her visit, we went to Mid Valley, supposed to help her find 'Precious Moment' bible. But, the specific version is out of stock. We then spent our hours walking around, catching up.

Thanks for being with us, Joy!

2008 X'mas Celebration

It was in the early Christmas morning. William pop-up and he was filled with joy and excitement! He could not wait to hand those gifts which he brought back (all the way) from Hong Kong!!!

He is one of the many who loves theTANs dearly. To him, Debbie and Caleb are his close siblings. While Caylie; Dylan and Dayson are his niece and nephews by adoption.

All theTANs were, as though, at Cloud-9 when we received his gift. William, we were and always deeply blessed by your heart towards us.

With love,
theTANs

2008 C'mas Celebration - Pastors with theLEONGs

Pastor Dexter & Lily with Chee Leong & Christine.

2008 C'mas Celebration - 6th Grandchild by Adoption

It was on 25th morning, at Miracle Villa (MV). The youth, young adults and family such as theONGs and theLIMs came for Christmas Celebration.

We had great time with the pastors. We had sing along. Pastor Dexter played the guitar while Alex had his Africa drum set. It was a memorable moment. We sang Christmas Carols and hymns.

Both the pastors were so happy when they carried Jansen / Janson Ong. He is their #6 grandchild, by adoption.

2008 C'mas Celebration - Caylie & Friends' Performance

It was on Christmas Eve, Vision Valley Centre (VVC) celebrated Christmas. The service began at 8:30p and ended at around 10p.

The children ministry pulled up two performances. Caylie and friends were involved in the play. I did enjoy the performance very much. There was new idea and interesting choreography.

Caylie played the character of Mary. While other kids played the character of angels; wise men from various culture and background.

It was a good show. Keep it up!

The Way Church in Action!

It was last Sunday, at The Way Church Service. Brother Joshua Sim led in worship. Rachel Sim played beautifully on the guitar. With two backup singers and skilled musicians, the worship was refreshing. The Lord surely had led them into a new level of worship.

While Pastor Lily taught on 'Worship'. The congregation were blessed by her sharing. Some claimed they had gained new insight in the area of worship.

To God be all glory and praise forever!

X'mas at Orchard, Singapore 2

theTANs and theSIMs at Orchard Road. The place is filled with people. It is crowded. It was difficult to find parking and food courts are out of seats. Even 'long-Qs' at McD.

But with the help of Josh Sim, we managed to get good parking location. We had 'take-away' food from McD and sat by the building pavement for our dinner. The kids totally enjoyed their 'picnic at Orchard'.

X'mas at Orchard, Singapore

theTANs and my in-law left PJ to Singapore on Dec.19, at 6AM. We returned home last night, at 8:15PM. It was a fruitful trip. Besides strengthening our relationship with theSIMs, mum's sermon and ministry had blessed The Way Church in certain measure.

The very day (Dec.19) when we arrived Singapore. Our top priority was to visit Orchard Road due to their X'mas Celebration. There, we observed many performances, pulled together by various churches and denominations. Celebrating X'mas with the community.

The entire Orchard Road is filled with decos and lights. Beautiful atmosphere and excellent spirit!

Recent Trip to Singapore 2

This post is the continuation of the 35th Birthday Celebration and 8th Anniversary events which recently took place during our visit to Singapore.

theTANs, theSIMs and theLOWs had fantastic moment, fellowship and enhancing our relationship. It was one most memorable moment because the Lord did wonderful works within us, all.

We basically spent half the day at Vivo City, Singapore. Window shopping and eating. But of course, the ladies did some shopping too.

Vivo City has beautiful X'mas deco. Picture shows a huge X'mas Tree on the outdoor-roof floor.

I like these few photos very much, especially the expression of Trinity. Not forgetting Skye was knocked out under the trolley.

See, super-dad in actions!

I was trying to take evening scene without tripod.

We were having buffet lunch at the restaurant. Thanks to Joshua Sim for the wonderful treat.

Recent Trip to Singapore

Last Sunday, Dec 7, theTANs and my mother-in-law drove to Singapore after VVC Sunday Service. We had wonderful weather and the Lord did it again! Reason...?

According to weather report, that Sunday was supposed to rain cats-and-dogs, but God just provided us an excellent weather for a long journey.

We arrived Singapore on Sunday and had tremendous dinner cum fellowship with theSIMs, both senior and junior and junior's juniors... *smile - looking at theSIMs*

The next day, we went and picked up Pastor Dexter at Changi Airport. He flew in from East Malaysia. It was a warm moment to see the grandpa and grand kids together.

These two pictures of theTANs were taken in the car, while waiting for theSIMs in buying lunch.

35th Birthday & 8th Anniversary

I am very, very blessed by Debbie, my in-laws and theSIMs. They are great and had made these two occasions so memorable to me. I had enjoyed it thoroughly. Thanks to all of you. Here, I'll share briefly by leading you through photos.

We had group photos after the lunch celebration. I like to take candid shots, especially during the group getting ready.

Debbie and Lynda, with the kids were walking into the restaurant. Joshua Sim bought us a wonderful buffet-lunch here. Thanks Josh for the excellent lunch.

It is always my desire to get close to Trinity. Finally, during our dinner break, she allowed me to feed, bear-hug and kiss her. It was an unforgettable moment.

Amazing Year!

Truly, 2008 is a very, if not, super-interesting year for me. Reason?
  1. My entire family shifted to Melbourne for 6months. While we were there, the Lord connected us with thePUYATs. They are very dear to our hearts. They are one of those special people that stood alongside us while we are at the foregin land.
  2. Our covenanted relationship with theSIMs. Our bond is far beyond what I ever imagine from the very day we met each other.
  3. We are about to enter into a new chapter of our life. And are in the midst of seeking God's perfect will. Do pray alongside with us. Thank you!

Welcome 35 - Part 2

Debbie did it again!!!
How? What did she do?

Man... She is super-fun-creative. She got the youth to greet me, one at a time, throughout Sunday Service. I was so amazed at the beginning and was just wondering why these youths kept coming to me and hands me 'Hacks'!

By the third and fourth youth came to me, I finally figured out. Debbie was behind this.

This was one most fun and easy-relaxing birthday celebration. I really enjoyed the fun with you people (all the youths and young adults from VVC).

Thanks!

Welcome 35 - Advance Celebration -

Debbie did it again! Every year, without fail, she will organize some surprise birthday for me. She is good with surprises. I guess partly is her nature and most of it got to do with her heart. A heart to love and to care. I am blessed to have such wonderful wife.

Debbie specially invited close friends for my advance birthday celebration.

2008 Convention Reflection

Special thanks to Athanasius A. Denis for taking and sharing these photos. Well done Brother Denis!

theTANs Potrait

I like to take big close-up of my children because they are pretty and adorable.

Life at Sepang

After breakfast, we went to buy food for Victory. Mum went to get some porridge while dad (Pastor Dexter) went to buy some cakes. While theTANs were waiting in the car.

During that moment of waiting, I'd decided to shot some activities at Sepang Market.

This is one of my favorite -both photo and girl.

theSIMs Visit - Family Photo

We had family photo before theSIMs depart to Singapore.

theSIMs Visit - Egg Party

I could not resist this scene and quickly took some shots of the kids. They were so cute - enjoying TV program and eggs.
